As actors nurturing our inner artistry, finding our personal power is essential on our journey to success. It helps strengthen our inner confidence to find clarity within ourselves as well as our talent and abilities, so that we can be content with our journey- regardless of wherever we may be on the road.

For many artists, the idea of international success or being “LA READY” means having reached a certain milestone or goal. What if those goals are only blocking our ability to trust in ourselves? What if, really, the reason we have not leaped into the unknown is the fears and doubts we have within ourselves and with our talent?

What will be covered:

  • Goal setting & intentions

    • What do I want? How to obtain what I want? What are my limitations? What are my fears?

  • Branding & Marketing

    • What do people see? Who do I see? How can I combine them? How can I market them?

  • Self Care and Motivation

    • What do I need? Where can I grow? Being kind to myself? How to draw inspiration

  • Our character arcs

    • How to identify who we were, who we are and who we want to be

  • Strengths & Weakness’s

    • How to identify these and be confident in growth.

    • The logline of our lives and the narratives we tell ourselves

Over three weeks, teacher Jess Orcsik will explore and develop the ins and outs of an artist's journey towards empowerment, courage and what it really means to be “LA Ready”.
