Ethan Panizza

Born in Albany, Western Australia, Ethan Panizza was pursuing AFL Football at a professional level when he injured his hamstring, leaving him unable to play for eight weeks. During this time, Panizza took an acting course with John Orcsik, who singled out Panizza’s performance in the course, which resulted in him changing his career aspirations.[1]

In 2014, he signed up to a twenty-week course at The Australian Film & Television Academy (TAFTA) in Sydney. Panizza had to decline to participate in the finals for Claremont Tigers in the WA Football League and take on the TAFTA course. Panizza was also selected for further acting training in Los Angeles.
