In her session Micaeley will share insights into the casting process, while simulating a mock audition environment. This gives actors the experience of a real audition. Micaeley will provide feedback on your performance, giving you tips and tricks that can help you nail your next audition and answer any burning questions you may have about the industry, casting and performance.
Micaeley has worked as a Casting Director for over 22 years on some of Australia’s most ground-breaking TV and Film Productions as well as casting national T.V commercials for some of Australia’s biggest consumer brands. Anousha Zarkesh Casting has also gained a reputation for a specialised service, championing cultural diversity and local indigenous talent.
They have also won multiple AACTA and CGA Awards for projects like recent 2022 AACTA Winner Mystery Road: Origins. 2022/2023 projects include The Stranger (with Joel Egerton), New Boy (With Cate Blanchett), The Australian Office, The upcoming series ‘Class of 07’, new Shane Warne Biopic series ‘Warnie’ and many many more.
