Do you ever find yourself constricted by pre-conditioned expectations of how a scene should run?

Have your confidence sapped by certain techniques that prioritise what someone thinks you should do instead of what you are doing in the moment.

Do you second guess your own impulses because you are trying to give the Casting Director, Director or teacher what you think they want to see?

These thoughts and habits are not conducive to free, uninhibited, vulnerable, and exciting acting performances.

Impulse & Instinct with John Orcsik is all about getting out of your head.

Your impulses in a single moment or multiple impulses in an entire scene will impact on your emotions. Likewise, real (or imposed) emotions will impact your impulses. You just have to be open to receive them.

In this advanced scene-work course you will be guided by Acclaimed Actor, Director, Writer and TAFTA's Artistic Director John Orcsik to give yourself permission to surrender to the moment, trust your instincts and impulses and let them carry you to your own personal emotional truth in a scene. Creating unpredictable, connected, and unmissable acting.

Payment Plans are available - email enquiries@tafta.com.au for more information!
