Known for her warm, collaborative approach, Thea creates an environment where actors feel supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver their strongest work.

"Thea is a lovely person & casting director. She's warm, friendly, understanding, supportive and has heaps of great advice and insights to put us actors both at ease and to get the best out of us. She's awesome."

Work with one of Australia's most experienced casting directors in this practical 4-hour workshop designed to give actors an authentic audition experience and valuable industry insight.

Participants will:

  • Perform a prepared scene for Thea and receive personalised direction and feedback.

  • Apply that feedback in a second take, just as you would in a professional audition or callback.

  • Have the opportunity (time permitting) to complete a cold read, developing the skills to make strong choices under pressure.

  • Take part in an extended Q&A covering the casting process, self-tapes, auditions, industry expectations, and how to make a lasting impression.

    Preparation:
A scene will be emailed to participants 5–7 days prior to the workshop. Please learn and prepare the scene as you would for a professional screen audition.

AGE LIMIT: 16+ years
