Learn to incorporate John’s physiological emotions technique into scene work

ONLY FOUR SPOTS AVAILABLE

In this Five Day Intensive, you will learn to incorporate John’s Emotions Technique with complex, challenging and demanding scenes.

In fact, using John’s safe, trauma-less physiological process to access these emotions, you will find it easier to fully express these emotions without having to rely on other (potentially damaging) techniques, whilst communicating the emotional demands of the scene on cue. Allowing you to impact the audience profoundly and repeat it over and over again. Take, after take, after take.

This 5-day Intensive with John Orcsik is only open to students who have completed Emotions #1. It will recover previous learning, then push you to go further than you ever thought you could go - with a safe technique not taught anywhere else! This means:

NO speaking about your personal life

NO using past experiences

NO self-destructive exercises

COURSE OUTCOMES:

  • Make choices in a scene on an emotional level

  • Exploring different emotions in challenging, complex and demanding scenes

  • Expressing the emotion on cue - as if the director has asked for a pick-up in the most intense part of a scene

  • Using emotions as a tool to tell the story, not just to express emotion

  • Creating a unique, connected and powerful performance that will stand out in the audition room.

TRIGGER WARNING:

Some of the scripts used for this session contain content that may be distressing for you.

Please note that the scripts contain direct reference and use of the following words and notions:

R*pe, Assault, trauma, grief, and extreme emotions (anger, yelling etc)

Whilst we always encourage you to push your boundaries and treat all sessions as if you were cast in a project, this is a learning environment and we want to ensure you are as comfortable as possible!

Please let us know if you have any questions, and if you believe you'll find this content too difficult to work with.

Please note: Payment plans are available - please email enquiries@tafta.com.au if you would like to set up a payment plan
