About Sean:

Sean Perez started in experiential marketing booking talent for well known corporate businesses & well known brands for events, activations & campaigns out on the street through to big expos and festivals. He then became a Talent Booker in 2013 and officially became a Talent Agent in 2015.

Sean Perez has a wealth of experience being on both sides of the table as he is a performer as well as a Talent Agent. Sean has a BA Music (Music Theatre) from The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Mackay - CQUniversity, Cert IV Music Theatre from The Western Sydney Institute of TAFE, NSW & a Cert II & III in Live Technical Theatre & Production.

He is known for empowering actors internationally through his consulting business, Q&Agent - born out of the need to educate actors - with free tips on social media, free blogs on their website as well as online courses training actors how to put the strongest package together, allowing them to feel they have more control over their career than ever! Some of the actors who have come through Q&Agent have been flown to LA during pilot season, landed international and local representation and have booked work during and after the courses offered. The goal is to demystify the industry for performers as much as possible and provide them with the tools of success.

His clients have worked all over the world such as Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Shanghai, Universal Studios Singapore, Paw Patrol Singapore, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Opera Australia, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Billy Elliot, Cats South Korea, Cats New Zealand to name a few as well as TV Shows and Feature Films in Australia, Los Angeles/ Hollywood & Canada.

PREPARATION:
Sean will be answering your questions about the Australian and US industry, specifically regarding how you, as actors, can operate as your very own business, how to properly and efficiently brand yourself to different markets, and do’s and don’t’s of approaching industry professionals.

STRUCTURE:
The Q & A will start with a collation of questions sent through by participants and then run on to an open forum where participants post questions in the chat and our facilitator will read out the questions with your name (or anonymously if you specify).
