VOICE

ABOUT THE COURSE

This course is designed to help actors build their voice technique, developing their range, pitch, flavours in tone and breathing techniques.

Actors will work on scripts and monologues during this course and will be taught to apply voice techniques to their acting work, building the vocal confidence to put into practice what they have learned.

The usage of voice is an aspect of acting that can really increase an actors versatility and working options.
Developing a broader voice range for different roles and different characters helps actors to feel confident in their ability to audition, cold read and also perform live.

This course is especially beneficial for actors who need to strengthen their voice, or level out their volume while also smoothing tone. Some actors speak too fast and clip their words, some speak too slow or mispronounce crucial words. This course teaches you how to vocally land words in just the right way to create the desired impact to the audience.
