GOLD COAST PROGRAM DATES - 2012
We are very excited to be announcing our new programs for 2012, we are going to be doing a lot more on the Gold Coast to bring it in line with our other programs in Sydney & Melbourne. We have a lot of new and exciting courses, check out the programs and dates that are below!

Elements #1 - One Course Running Only in 2012
A beginner’s course for Film & Television - if all you've ever done is stage or you've done nothing at all, this course is for you!
Commences: Sunday 22nd January
Duration: 10 Sessions

Elements #2 - One Course Running Only in 2012
A follow up to Elements #1 where you will now work in a lot more detail with much more advanced material. You don't have to have done Elements #1 to do this program as long as you have had some screen experience and or substantial stage experience.

Emotions #1 - Two Courses Running in 2012
Learn a whole new technique to get those Emotions flowing. This program stands on its own and is the most innovative & modern program in existence. Do you need to brush up on your emotional skills? Then this is the program for you! There are no prior requirements for this course.
1st Program Commences: Saturday 18th February
Duration: This is an 8 session course that runs over two consecutive weekends, each session is of 3 hours in duration.

2nd Program Commences: Saturday 26th May
Duration: This is an 8 session course that runs over two consecutive weekends, each session is of 3 hours in duration.

Character for the Screen - One Course Running Only in 2012
Students should have completed Elements #1 or Elements #2 and or Emotions #1 to do this program. Understand and exhibit the modern approach to behaviors - be able to freely express and portray yourself as any character in any given circumstance.

Duration: 10 Sessions
Cost: $495

Advanced Emotions - One Course Running Only in 2012
Takes you to performance level where you can hopefully call upon any emotions as required at any time. Students should have completed Emotions #1 to do this program.
Commences: Saturday 25th August
Duration: This is an 8 session course that runs over two consecutive weekends, each session is of 3 hours in duration.

Audition Impact - One Course Running Only in 2012
Now you are ready to work! This program is all about getting the job!
Students must have completed Elements #1 or Emotions #1 at very least to do this program, preferably students have completed all of the above programs.
Commences: Saturday 20th October
Duration: This is an 8 session course that runs over two consecutive weekends, each session is of 3 hours in duration.
Cost: $495

Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st October: 10am - 1pm/ 2pm - 5pm
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th October: 10am - 1pm/ 2pm - 5pm
Voice & Speaking American with Melissa Agnew
Your voice is one of your key tools as an actor and if you want to go to LA an American Accent is a must! Learn the basics that you will need to assist you in this process - No prior requirements.
Duration: This workshop runs over one weekend only
Cost: $330
Course Date: Saturday 17th March & Sunday 18th March
Time: 10am - 5pm each day

Teens Term Classes
This program caters for Teens aged 12 - 16. These classes run per school term teaching all the basic necessities for screen acting. No prior requirements for this course, each term is 10 weeks in duration and each session runs for three hours in length (working in with the school term).

Term #2 - Saturday 14th April - Sat 16th June
Term #3 - Saturday 14th July - Sat 15th September
Term #4 - Saturday 13th October - Sat 15th December

The Ultimate Screentest Workshops - Only 5 Running in 2012
This program is designed to help you try and get a job! Get familiar with Casting Directors and expose your skills, learn from working industry professional and hone up on your audition skills. Casting Directors are confirmed closer to each of the dates (due to their availabilities

Screentest #3 - 9th June - 7th July

20 Week Full Time Program
A unique opportunity to study all of TAFTA's short term courses in a concentrated period of time to produce the skills that could make you a working actor! Classes run three days a week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10am - 5pm. Entry is via Audition only. No prior requirements.

LA Experience
This program is NOT for the faint hearted or the inexperienced or those without sufficient training or skills. This 10 week program will take you to the next level. Over the program you will be required to speak in a GenAm accent the entire time! Entry via Audition only.
