This is your chance to participate in the most successful screen test courses in Australia. NOW you can exhibit your skills and learn from and meet four of Australia’s most influential Casting Directors. What are they looking for? What should you do? What you definitely shouldn’t do – how to increase your chances of getting the job!!!
This is a five week course. Each session with the Casting Directors will be conducted like an actual Screentest. A written assessment of each participant may be provided by each Casting Director. The first session, conducted by James Romeril will be a WORKSHOP of scenes provided by the Casting Directors as preparation for the next four sessions. This session provides invaluable lessons and insights and might just present you with that elusive opportunity that you’ve been looking for.
NB: If for some reason a Casting Director becomes unavailable they will be replaced by another of equal standing.

LAST CHANCE TO BOOK IN ANDY MCPHEE WEEKEND ACTING WORKSHOP – THIS WEEKEND - MELBOURNE
This is the last chance you will get to see Andy for quite a while. Andy is heading to Sydney to film Home & Away next and then back to LA – at the moment we have a few spots left in Andy McPhee's final workshop for 2011.
This class is about simplifying and learning about the real you which will assist you throughout the Casting Process.
Over the weekend you will work on not thinking and just doing. Learn to trust your intuition.. remember – this is a workshop, you are coming to fail to embarrass yourself and step out of your box in a safe zone. From this you will learn something about YOU and make things more real and simple for the process of building characters and really nailing those auditions!
Andy will be running a weekend workshop this Saturday 17th December and Sunday 18th December.
The class will include discussions on 'The Business of Acting' both in Hollywood and Australia and what you need to prepare including all aspects – admin, headshots, resumes, showreels, and if your new to the Acting Business – tips to keep you in the game.
The workshop will also focus on working with scenes/ scripts and learning a number of exercises to get you at your best.
What you will need to prepare for the class:
- Bring 4 Scenes (can be learnt or not – preferably learnt if possible)
- 2 Monologues (learn one well, and the other roughly)
Andy's classes are like no other, they are fun, intense and extrememly eye-opening and empowering – Be prepared to work hard – and have fun doing it!!
