Any actor at some point in their careers must measure themselves against the greatness of a classical text.

This course is only for those with considerable training and experience.

Soliquay #1 is a ten week course that examines some of the great classical pieces with works from Chekov, Strindberg, Ibsen, Shakepeare and Sophocles.

Although a soliquay is defined as the act of talking when alone or as if alone regardless of any hearers present, this course will include the monologue which is defined as a prolonged discourse by any speaker usually to someone present and listening.

This is a very demanding course designed to test and challenge an actor’s reach: mentally, physically and emotionally.
