ROLES and SCREENTESTS GAINED |
ELIZABETH SAUNDERS starts shooting a guest role in Neighbours this week playing nurse Rose Walker. She auditioned in December for Lou Mitchell and Peter Rasmussen.
JEAN-MARC MANNING (Qld) managed to get a part in Bad Behaviour after some grueling screentests, one of which (would you believe), lasted three and a half hours. But it was worth it. He got the gig!
SASKIA HAMPELE (pictured) got a small role in a feature film 'Blame', shot over in Perth. She was also put on hold for a lead in another feature 'The Other Side' which she subsequently just got.
Two movies and we're only six weeks into the year. She's running Hot!!!
Also a young Queensland actor was successful in getting a role in a Melbourne based show. The casting director Alison Telford met him in a TAFTA intensive workshop and thought he was so right for the role that he was asked to audition even though he's a Queensland actor. |
